accidently flashed and blank screen with red light now

hey everyone i accidently pressed flash bios and i turned off my xbox thinking that everything will be okay once i turn my system back on, but little did i know my xbox turned on with a blank screen and a red led was on. all i know is that i have a xecuter chip. if anyone knows the answer please reply. thanks.

RROD repair kit

I bought a RROD console and tried the towel trick and it booted up fine to the dashboard until 2 minutes later it stoppped and flashed the RROD.

So I purchased a RROD x-clamp repair kit from ebay and installed it to the console. I let the console run for about 5 minutes with just the motherboard, RF board, and the a/v and power cables in. Then I did a final tightening on the screws and put all back together. Still flashed the RROD. So I later did the towel again and now it works perfect.

I have used it for a total of about 12 hours now and still no problems.

Will this still be a temporary fix or should it be good enough to sell?

Thats a risk youll have to take if your going too sell it. It might last a while it might not. Who knows.
