achievements not unlocking or showing when completed????

Hi,just like to say great site.Was able to flash my sammy and back-up my games by researching on here without having to ask 1 question
Now i have a problem though that i can't find an answer to,on certain games(backups+originals),the achievements are not unlocking even though i have done them,also some of the icons on my profile screen are not showing up properly.
Example.....On NBA 2K6(original),i do the 3 pointer achievement,when i check on my profile it shows 0 out of whatever achievements unlocked,then when i look at the list of achievements for that game it shows i have unlocked that achievement but does'nt give me the points!
Anybody have any ideas?

idk maybe your profile is corrupt

Thanks for quick reply,is there anyway i can confirm it's corrupt?Is the solution to make another profile or can i fix it in some way?

if it was corrupt i dont think it would let you use it. you can correct me if im wrong. Try deleting the gamesave and trying again

Thanks,i have tried playing the games on 2 different profiles (my kids profiles)with no luck and have also deleted the game save and started from scratch but still with no luck.
It's typical that it looks like i am the only person to ever have this problem,have searched and searched and can't find anybodyelse with the same prob!
I'm lost,anymore ideas guys?

Ok,i have created a new profile on the mem card,used that to unlock some achievements and it worked ok.Then created a new profile on the hard drive and did the same and it worked fine again.So it definately looks like the 3 profiles that me+the kids were using from the start somehow got corrupted,god knows how!?
Looks like i have to start all over again if i want the achievement thing to work!
Unless anybody knows of any ideas how i can switch my points and achievements over to a new profile or rescue my old one somehow,highly impossible i know!

I'm not very sure if you can move your gamerpoints
and achievements over to another profile. I think
that if you move a save from a mem. card to your HDD
with the account that you want to move the gamerscore
to then you will be told that "By moving this (content)
you will become the new owner of the (content) but
you will not be able to unlock achievements with it."
At least thats what I remember when I was trying to
move a save owned by a old porfile.

Thanks Komet,have already went to do that and saw that you wouldnt be able to unlock any more achievements which is where i am at the moment because of an apparentley corrupt file,so decided against that as it would'nt change anything.
I think i have to start all over again,completing those old first games again is gonna bring back some memories !!
