Hello everyone, now ive heard this before and everyone called him crazy, but ive yet to see it with my own eyes. A client came in to me saying that he got his Xbox 360 RGH'D from someone in columbia and is able to play backup discs but doesnt play new games. I thought this just meant the fw on flashed pcb board on his xbox 360 slim was outdated but when i opened it up it had a stock board! I was witnessing it playing backups up to the dashboard it was on. I used Jrunner to update the nand he had on his corona motherboard and it was able to now play every backup to date. How is this possible? I have the nanddump if needed for proof. The dvd drive was also untampered with so i know it wasn't opened and modified in any way.

I've heard about these columbian magicians...apparently they can wave a magic wand and flash the pcb without opening the console.

Console was opened, it was RGH'd. Didnt use a coolrunner though it was one of those blue alt glitch chips

Something like that, but if you use a 4GB console without HDD it's useful.
Who owns a JTAG/RGH console and doesn't own a decent hard drive?

One of the main features of JTAG/RGH is having the ability to install/rip games to the HDD so that you can keep your original game discs safe.

For what it's worth, FSD has a function to rip the contents of a game disc to the hard drive.

I think theres something the modder did to the modified nand to allow the drive to play without security. I guess i shouldnt have came without video proof. Ill come back with that as soon as i can.

Haha, nope. Without modified firmware, a drive will only recognize pressed XGD media as games, nothing to do with the NAND.

The game partition isn't unlocked as the booktype is non-xgd and it only sees the video partition. This won't ever change.
