Infinity Ward has released some early footage of Call of Duty: Ghosts on Vine. Turns out there are men with guns in it. Other confirmed features: helping people up, jungles, suppressed sniper rifles, exploding churches and, um, faces. We are officially through the looking glass, my friends, operating in unfamiliar waters. Ghosts is said to be a clean break for the franchise, running on a new engine and starring an all-new cast. It'll release for both current and next generation consoles on 5th November. "Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we're not resting on our laurels," Infinity Ward's executive producer Mark Rubin commented during the game's reveal. "We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we're building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can't wait to share them with our community."Have a look at the footage, and let us know what you think. Microsoft will debut the next generation Xbox tomorrow at 6pm UK time. You can also expect the first Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay at the event.
