So I was recommended to get the post out fix on account of the post out point being unusable from a wire ripping off the trace of solder.... I am confused as to what adapter for what console will do the trick for me to retrieve the CPU Key off my Trinity. Im also intrerested in the Monitor COM to get the fastest easiest result to retrieve the key. Thanks!!:p:redface:

The post fix adapter works with both trinities and coronas,I think, but only necessary on trinities if the original post_out is damaged, your case.

Corona post fix adapter works fine on trinitys and if your post out pad is pulled this would be the easiest way to fix it or just use the top side alt post out point.

To use the comms cable you need the trinity v3 qsb which has the comm cable connector or you can solder the comms cable wire directly to the motherboard if you don't have the v3 qsb( use the search button, there are a bunch of post on how to do this) or you can make your own comms cable.

so i got the post fix in the mail today and i soldered the wire to the post 4 point of the cpu post fix adapter. The green light won't shine, is there something else that is needed to be soldered so that it will work>?

^the post fix adapter is not properly seated and probably not touching the correct ball ..... it should be seated around the CGPU BGA .... your picture shows the end of the postfix is over the CGPU not beside it .. fix that
