I'm curious how to add my xbox as a network place, so that when i have my xbox turned on i can see all my files in windows explorer and not use the ftp'ing method. Thanks

I currently have two nics. Xbox to PC and PC to Internet

Not possible - anything listed under My Network Places (local network) will be based on a NetBIOS protocol, or will be a file server.

The Xbox is neither - if you want to add an FTP link then you can do so.

Not possible based on current software that I'm aware of.

Were someone to write the software, it would theoretically be possible.

isn't windows networking smb compatible?

edit... i say this because... there is software somewhere that allows access to the xbox over smb.

Something I'd definitely like to see - could potentially make things easier... or at least more user friendly.

Then again, that could open up a whole nother can of worms. We already have enough people with ftp issues :)

I know there is software that allows access TO SMB shares from the Xbox, but not from a computer TO the xbox. Do you know what software?

liteon 9 drive repair

I screwed up pads 101, 122 on my liteon drive trying to install LT switch.

I'm looking for someone who can dump the drive key and flash it with LT, then return the drive to normal operational condition.
