Hi.
ok, here is a weird one.... I am trying to increase the baud rate on a nand x using usb cable. and flash magic.
However, the most it lets me increase it to is 38400?
after that it says the good old "step 1 baud error".
I have tried 2 different Nand X units, and they do exactly the same thing.... Philips flash utility, i get even less luck with.... any ideas?
using Win 7 64bit
Nand x usb cable
as i said 2 separate Nand x, exactly same outcome.

I think it's the rate you update the NAND x at not the rate it's programmed to read NANDs

Real world experience says that any serial communications become very unstable and data gets corrupted beyond 38.4K. You might have better luck than I've had since the cable is very short but I would think that is plenty fast enough. The error you are getting is probably do to hardware limitations anyway.

Thanks for the reply guys..... i basically got it all wrong!
I thought adjusting the baud rate higher would make the nand X read the nand faster , didn't realise it was the speed of the update :facepalm:
