Advice needed, new 360 Premium with HMDI/Philips DVD

Hi All, Newb here so be gentle

I am based in the Uk and am gettin a new 360 soon. it is my intention to flash the DVD drive.

I am going to get it from GAME, last week my mate bought one from GAMe and got a new version sent to him which included the HMDI port and the Black philips DVD drive.

Can these consoles be flashed successfully yet?

I like the idea of gettin the new model with the HDMI port but not so keen if it cant be flashed.
