after 3 hours of flashing and scratching my head cos i couldnt get my X3 to work, i decided to take my xbox apart again and resolder all the joints and hay presto it works

so as it has been said millions of times before, re check your work atleast 4 times before you can say its fooked

Great...glad you went back to the soldering, it just proves what gets echoed time & time again ...it usually is a solder prob.
