After Flash - Have Sound, No Video. X3 1.6

I flashed my X3 chip with the 1957 BIOS and it boots up to the X3 Config...but no Video. I have all the sound but no video. I retouched Tips 13 and 14 and it's the same results.

When I boot to normal XBOX Dash, all is good. Even when I boot by holding Eject AND Power, it boots up to the Flash BIOS. I reflash and get the same results.

Any ideas?

Ok, you're going to need the 1959_1.6PLUS bios in order for this to work ...

does the 1959_1.6PLUS bios work with a 1.4 o5 1.5 motherboard?

No, but in the title you put "X3 1.6" ....

1.4 and 1.5 just the 1959.BIN

I apologize for the confusion, I have a 1.4 - 1.5 Motherboard.and I used the 1959.bin file and still get the same results. PLEASE HELP

Strange .... I had the same problem when I flashed the 1.6 BIOS to my ver 1.0.

Try re-touching pins 13 and 14 on the LPC header.

I retouched all of the pins. I read another post where a guy had the same problem and it was suggested that the eeprom was faulty. He flshed it with the x2 bios and it is working for him (http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23185&page=3&pp=10&highlight=video). What functionality would I lose if I use the x2 bios?

Ok, so you've touched up the eeprom legs too ?

Are you flashing via CD ?

I would re-download the RAR file again, and re-extract it making sure to delete the old .BIN first. Then try re-flashing with that.

Failing all that, as the other thread suggest - and Xecuter - it may be a faulty eeprom - send it back !!

I have not touched up the eeprom legs yet. I am flashing via DVD. The RAR file is good.

I would still download the file again and then if possible try from HTTP - this much easier and reliable - worth a shot - otherwise the chip will need to back I think.
