After flash mod wont boot....

ANy time I try flashing my X3 the system reboots and this happens when I press the on button.

on for 1/4 seconds....powers off
on for 1/4 seconds....powers off
on with red and green flashing light.

does anyone know why this could be. I am going to try resoldering the pins but I do not know what else to do. I can no longer boot to any other bios besides the XBOX and 256 k. DOes anyone know what I can do? thanks.

That usally indicates a bad flash.
What version bios are you trying to flash and what version xbox do you have?

You should be using:
X3_1959.bin for v1.0-v1.5 xbox
X3_1959_v16plus.bin for v1.6 and v1.6b xbox

also you should be flashing with the switches set to on,on,off,off,off

Thanks hudson, I was flashing v16plus lie a fool. I will try to flash the regular bios tonight, hopefully it will save me from having to resolder it.
