ok i have the x3 new bios on....i turn on xbox and it says xbox rox my box and then goes to the game....what do i do now?

dowloaded games are illegal and you shouldnt really say that here. To back up a copy you can store it on the hdd using a installed app. Try using slayers if your new at first that is decent. And you can tell x3 live to load straight to dash. 
I cant tell uw here to get it and u will be able to do it sorry it is also illegle. Just look around or buy it off ebay or something.

Hello. I apologize in advance if this is a newb question.
I am going to attempt to mod my Lite-on 74850c drive to play burned back up games. I have read guides or other posts on forums pertaining to flashing, but I'm looking for a way to flash without buying the materials for it such as connectivity kits, xtractors, probes, and especially soldering.
From what I read, they all seem to need me to buy the mentioned hardware.. I can afford it, but would much rather try a different form of flashing IF possible.

You have to buy something. At the very least you will have to buy an xtractor because all 74850c's need some type of modification done.
