After flashing BIOS... nothing

I just installed a Xecuter 2.6 on a 1.6 XBOX. I decided not to use the solderless kit and I used the LPC rebuild kit.
After installation, the FlashBios main screen starded and the HD/CD where recognized correctly. So I presume that there is no problem with the hardware installation.
I choosed Network Flashing and the XBOX correctly got an IP address from DHCP.
At that point I switched the bank (from 1 to 2) without turning the XBOX off because I didn't want to loose the original FlashBios.
I uploaded the new BIOS (x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin) and, apparently, everything was successfull (progress bar and XBOX shutdown).
But, now, my XBOX no more works with modchip!
If I choose Bank 1, it starts, the led is green, but on the screen I can't see anything (where is the original FlashBios???).
If I choose Bank 2, it starts, but, after a couple of seconds the led turns red. Also in this case, I can't see anything on the screen.
What is happening and how can I solve this problem?

The x2 bios is the same I always used in the past.
When you say "recheck your install", do you mean that it could be a hardware problem?
Is it possible that FlashBios starts without any problem even if the modchip has not be installed correctly (bad solder point, for example)?

Yes, according to xbox-scene.com it'a a 1.6 (video chip "xcalibur" and RAM made by Samsung).
Also the serial number analysis confirms it'a a 1.6.
I'll check the solder points again (even if I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware problem because FlashBios worked without any problem).
Then, I'll buy a programmer.
