After flashing chip all stopped working

Hi.

I have chipped about 50 boxes now and never got this issue. Can anybody help me.

Here is the case,
I've chipped the brand new box with Executer 2.6 Ce. Booted the xbox and everything looks nice, The blue screen with flash menu appers. I flash it by CD rom. In the midle of flashing the chip the boxs just turns off. when i'm trying too boot it up again nothing works. Just flashing in the lights to chipselector one time. No lights inn the xbox's regular lights.

Ok, i've thoght it was some wrong with the flashing in the chip. Disassembled the chip, tryed to boot the x box with no chip, nothing happends. I've also mesured power from power to motherboard and everything looks normal.


Somebody any idea's?

sounds like something has gone bang, but if your power supply is working that it has to something on the motherboard. and that can be like looking for a needle in paperclips!!

Do the lights flash when you hit the power button or when you plug in the power cord? Check that all of the cables to the mobo (power/eject would be a good one to look at) are still in solid shape and no cuts. While unlikely as the box did boot modded once long enough to start a flash, check for solder splashes and bridged connections. Beyond that, it's looking for broken traces or burned out connections which can be a royal PITA. Good luck.
