After installing sxcore, my sdcard slot always gets hot whenever i am running games. The fan works actively now but previously it works so passive that it almost stops working

Do you have such problems?

Did you mount heatsink properly with thermal paste? That would be the first check. The point of the thermal paste is to transfer the heat to the cooler which dissipates the heat with the help of the fan. The fan does not cool. It blows across the fins to remove heat from heat sink.

I carefully applied thermal paste on the CPU core and the space between the heat sink and the aluminum plate. I'd like to ask whether the installation of SXCORE will change the structure of the heat dissipation channel of the Switch, which will cause the heat dissipation capacity of the Switch to decrease.

Mine is not getting hot after installing sx core. I also used system monitor using the tesla menu and on handheld I get max 40°C temps and on docked about 45°C.

Possible it could add a few degrees. If your switch did not get hot before you removed the heat sink and does after then your heat sink is not seated properly. The heatsink does not work if you have a air pocket, to much thermal paste, not enough, did not clean old paste completely off. There are two places you clean and apply paste if put metal cover back on(from chip to cover and from cover to heatsink). I suggest using cover due to multiple purposes but you could remove it. Also check you have not blocked any airflow. While it is possible the core could increase temperature it is not your issue. I have ran NSW with no fan and not had overheating.

Thermal Paste is your most likely suspect depending on what kind you used. I used Artic Silver which is the same paste they use on custom built PCs.
