RGH After several fixes still the rdod

Hi all,
i've tried to rgh a 16d5s (1175) to extract the key for the use of a ltu2 board.
After a dead xbox i fixed the pad of the r3b15, this worked but the slim gave a rdod.
Then i fixed the cpu_rst, just i case this would cause the rdod, this all worked out great, but i still have the rdod.
Can anyone please help me in the right direction, in this thread there are pics of the mobo.

if everything is still the same since you posted that last photo on the other thread, the trace is still broken with the blue wire

The fix gave me the rdod, before that the slim was totally dead.
I can also measure 33 ohms between the blue wire so it seems fixed to me. Maybe not good enough but since i have the 33 ohms it should be fixed right?

What is the secondary error code?

I suspect it will be 0032 which is caused by a damaged CPU_RST point.

The console would not power on if STBY_CLK was damaged.

Thx, but the trace was never broken, its just solder on the trace,
I fixed the pad that was broken by soldering a string from the resistor to the trace, from beginning to end i have 33ohm, so it should be ok now.
But thank you for replying. Maybe i don't understand and i need to resolder the string, but i don't see why?

Thank you Blakey, i can't read a secondary error code,
I turned the xbox on, hold the sinc button and touched the open/.close button of the dvd 4 times, i don't see any error code. Its all black screen.

you can clearly see the point you soldered to on the trace, if you look closely to the left of it you can see there is a break in the trace.. is it just me or can anyone else see it ? good luck and happy christmas

I just want to point out one thing since more than one poster in this thread think that OPs RDOD is caused by a still faulty stby_clk trace:
A broken stby_clk trace or blown (burnt) resistor will not cause RDOD, it causes the console to not power on at all. Slims will ding but nothing more. The Southbridge need the it's reference clock to function, it's as easy as that.

OP: what is your secondary error code? I believe BL4K3Y may be right.

it looks like 3 traces are broken, but its just not clean or a hair laying there,.

The secondary error code is 0002

i never once said that was the reason the console wasnt booting... i was pointing out that from the ops previous post in the photo he had posted that the trace he had soldered to was broken.. wishing you all a merry xmas

Well its a 0002 error, so i'm really lost now.
i'm not adequate enough to even think this can be solved my myself.
next slim will be a 16d4s

trinity motherboards all come with 16d4s/HITACHI not 5S...

just... as i recall i think... i realy do believe that trinity-s dont come with 5S...

if u check any box with 10amps on back... there are 9.6/10 apms

9.6 = corona
10 = trinity

10 amps = 4s

9.6 amps = 5s

any date... lets say 8/11

if it says 10 amps on back (where serial is) its 100% 4s drive... or Hitachi.

Yeah I do wanna bet, since I have had trinity with D5S drives before. It's like saying there are no xenons with lite-on osignerad in their KV.

A quick google search and you will find instances of 5DSs being in Trinitys. That's what I just did.
