after trying atmosphere im very grateful for Sx Os

I accidentally updated to OFW 8.0 and was tired of waiting for the new sx os update and tried atmosphere oh bo oh boy I spent the whole day trying to get this BS going without success.

From using tinfoil for the xci files that takes a lot of time and space to the whole exfat corrupting files debacle it was a frustrating experience and Ill wait for the hopefully soon coming sxos update.

Stay patient because there is no other option

I have been tempted to try it out, but SXOS have all i need atm, so ill just stick to that

Been using both atmo and tx sx for customers

Can setup atmosphere in 2 min or less with no install issues

Modded roughly 300 switches and not 1 exfat issue on either

You can also downgrade to 7.01 to use TX sx os again

Man i cant get it to work im still trying but all I get is corrupted files messages. Trying with fat now but its pain in the a** to convert xci to nsp and than split it when over 4gb. I really miss sxos

Some other people also suggested downgrading but game_over said not to do it.....is it risky ? At this point i would try anything

You just did not know what you were doing. Although I will admit it takes a lot more setting up compared to SXOS

got it finally working but it needs a lot more work and time to get a game running...

SX has exFAT as well as long as the driver is installed. Neither will have exFAT support if the driver isn't installed officially via Nintendo or via Choi. Almost all Homebrew devs recommend fat32 because of how exFAT reads and writes to the SD.

there is another option, im using it now, I just copied a boot.dat file which is atmosphere, in SX Pro format onto the SD card and booted into RCM mode, works fine

works here fine too! my atmosphere folder structure was messed up and that was the reason why it didnt work before BUT sxos still kicks ass with xci support etc.

I agree, ill definitely load sx os back on, as my hb shop does not work, and I need xci support also, hope it gets updated soon

wow you made yourself look really dumb, you make it sound like it was really hard to copy a single folder from a zip file to an sd card and hekate into the root of the sd. seriously the reason sxos is so popular is for stupid people like yourself. i too own sxos, but come on, stop sucking on tx's bellend and realise the issue is you, not atmosphere. i bet you own an iphone too.

by the way why did you use atmo again? oh thats right because that terrible atmo cfw works on all OS. how ya sxos cfw going? oh its not.

why did i go from sxos os to atmo? same reason you did, TX have a terrible track record on releasing custom firmware for the latest version FW from nintendo. just like now. just like when 7.0 dropped and so forth and yet we paid cash for there product, yet there not able to do what a free community can when it comes to supporting the latest firmware. best investment ever.

SX OS is a all in one CFW. That’s why it’s more work to keep it up and running. Atmo is Firmware plus another home brew tools. Of course easy to maintain. Someday new FW will break homwbrew like tinfoil and then you are screwed

Like this time 8.0 tried to prevent mounting of game images. How is this affecting Atmos? Right. Not at all. Of course easy to update.

Im happy about XCI mounting which is butter smooth. My switch is not connected to WiFi to prevent updates. All this makes me happy so far.
