JUNGLE FLASHER After Updating to LT 2.0 No discs are reading. Says Open Tray

hey guys i just updated from 1.92 to LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin and now it wont read any discs....I tried a original movie, a backup that worked on this drive before, and a original game. It keeps saying Open tray. Any ideas whats wrong...I didnt get any errors in my jf.log file

I am using a ck3 pro+external power supply. The drive is a Lite-On 74850c I am positive i have the right key as well.

I even tried to reflash again and even tried to flash back to stock.... Eject works fine.... Keeps saying Open Tray....

Someone told me the laser might of went bad I swapped the laser from a working VAD6038 drive and it still doesnt work...


Any ideas?

did u unplug the ribbon probably the laser if anything

No i did not unplug it while flashing....But i didn't get any errors...And It doesn't say in the jungleflasher tutorial or any other tutorial i read to unplug the laser cable. Also i just swapped lasers and it still does the same thing.

In some instances, the laser can be burned out if the laser ribbon is still attached when you flash the drive.

I'm not sure if this will help or not but maybe there's a mix up in firmwares somewhere. You said you updated from 1.92 to 2.0 on the phat drive. There was never a 1.92 for the phat drive just 1.91.

I meant i had 1.91

Open tray is a laser issue and jungleflasher won't show errors if its laser. I had a laser go while the new dash reflashed drive
