I went to remove the cable for jr programmer of the sonus and along with it came the sonus. it tore 2 pads off :frown:. and I have no idea where the resistors are.

The console still works and so does the sound I last programed.
what are the resistor values?
can I just bridge these after repair?
how do I fix this?

get another console with same version motherboard and figure out what values they were.. then do a trace repair and add in new resistors.

3 options

1) get another console with same version motherboard and figure out what values they were.. then do a trace repair and add in new resistors.
2) leave it as it is and get used to the sound u programmed
3) someone else might be able to get the values for u

i have a dead trinity, give me 15min to dig it out and ill post the values for you..

UPDATE: All 3 you have circled are 10k ohm resistors. Also cut some of the naked wire off before you short it out..

Well, I still cant fix it. I just went and got some regular resistors from radio shack and a small pcb board to repair everything. This was a rough repair just so I can test if it works. There is continuity on the board and I amanged to connect it to the Sonus.

Should I give up?
Is it beyond repair?

I was really hoping to be able to change sounds....Might have to live with it the way it is now....At least its the Halo 4 sounds

oh the loose wire in the first pic is connected....just not when I took the picture

EDIT: it happens...not going to obsess over it anymore. At least I got the sound I most wanted programed into my console before it ripped off. Thanks everyone for your help.

If you do know why it did not work feel free to tell me and I will have a second go at it :D
