Ive had my 1.6 box modded for about a month now. I have been moving it around a lot cause i cant network into it the same place i play games at. Its been working perfectly the whole time until now. I moved it from my familyroom to the computer room and all the sudden the front display doesnt light up anymore and the box boots right to MS bios. I opened it up and checked my solder points and redid a few of them to make sure everything was secure. Nothing changed; still boots right to MS bios. I read the troublshooting sticky and noticed the part about the 2 blue lights on the bottom. I cant tell for sure but i think only the 5v is lighting up. would the 3.3v not being connect correctly cause this problem? thanks in advance.

I wouldnt hold my breath. The JTAG exploit evolved from one mistake microsoft made in the whole xbox 360 lifespan. I wouldnt be surprised if it never happens again.

You never know whats gonna happen where microsoft is concerned, sooner or later they'll make another mistake. Its just a matter of finding it. Take the initial 360 design for example, constant cases of rrod made the console flawed from the start. Even when they tried to improve the internal design, it still failed at some point. So I'm betting ms WILL slip up again.

Ok, hold your breath but I doubt many people are even looking for it since we have jtag now. Microsoft made a VERY VERY strong security system in the Xbox 360. The cpu efuses have been blown and the original hack has been blocked forever. A completely new hack now must be written. Though, the Hypervisor supposes the biggest problem for a hack to come into existence.
