My friend has an Super Aladdin Live chip. He wanted me to install his X3 chip into his xbox. His xbox is 1.6 and functional. So i remove the Aladdin chip and leave the LPC header in and just add the 3 pins to the end and remove the additional pins so that they match the diagram on the tutorial. So i rebuild the lpc according to the diagram here. And when i boot i get green flashing LED and nothing on screen. My switch is lit up and there are 2 blue lights on the chip lit. I put the 5v wire as well. I can disable the chip and access the original xbox but i get a error 05, not original drive. So i have no idea what to do now. Im considering a wire install since i think its the lpc. I really dont want to give him my xbox that i just recently modded since i think i messed his up. Please help i can give further details and images.

Welp. I fixed the problem. I actually never had a problem. Dont use X2VGA or other devices as such. Baffled me since i used mine and was able to see my flashbios screen. But on 1.6 it didnt work and i must have rebuild the LPC and desoldered resoldered tried my own inventions, surprised it still works. Anyways Aladdin chip upgraded to Xecuter 3. Lol my xbox had the rrod problems for a couple of times but now did a reflow and added a extra fan for better cooling so it wont get too hot ! what do you think? :roll:

nice, maybe look into a screen filter. From opening these things alot, they collect dust horribly.

yeah I guess it will get pretty dusty but i can always open the case and blow the dust away whit a air compressor.
A filter would still be pretty nice!

Ya be simple use compressed air. Might be kinda cool touch tight woven black screen between the system and the fan.

This doesnt save your xbox. trust me. Did the same mod and Ive still had the xbox red ring.
