I soldered in the alt 5V wire but the tut is not clear as to where I connect the black plastic connector to the X3 chip. Can anyone please help? I feel as though I am so close to being finished installing, but Im not sure about this step. Thanks,

I guess my question is do I connect the alt 5V wire to the pin that is coming off the chip at a right angle, next to the "Backup" plate? It seems as though that's the only place but it doesnt want to go on there easily, and I dont want to force it on. Furthermore, if this is the place it attaches, do I have to straighten it out before attaching the alt 5v? The tut never mentions any of this. I scrolled through all the threads and couldnt find the answer. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Yes, you attach it to the pin coming off the chip at a right angle next to the Backup bios chip. No, you don't straighten the chip.
