When using Aud-clamp TMS and Tray_open TDI points do you still have to connect J2D2.4 and J2D2.7 ?

yes. you will still need the jumper on there assuming youre not using the jtag qsb. if you had the jtag qsb installed then no you wouldnt need the jumper but thats pretty obvious lol.

What do you mean by jumper? Is that just the wire you use to bridge the 2 points? Or is it something different?

I'm curious because I plan on doing the smc jtag sometime today

Yeah, its just a wire used to connect two points.
