got myself 33 ohm ressistor and fitted instead of wire hope this works cheers

You really should get some hot glue on the resistor! One bump and you have an expensive door stop as it very well can pull up what little trace is left. Put the glue on the resistor itself. Do not cover the solder joints.

Also, did you try and flash back the original nand as jeremy970 suggested?

yes i wrote back original nand refitted my fans and dvd drive switched cr to prg and switched on now i get 3 rrod ?

You should never solder through hole components directly to SMD pads. As indicated, it will lift the contacts.

Use kynar wire and solder the component to either end.

i havnt soldered through the pads ive put put resistor on top of pad at the chip and on top of the trace at other end

What Martin means is the resister which is a through hole component shouldn't be soldered directly to the board. If you knock or nudge that resistor it's gonna take the pad and trace with it. Solder some wire to the pad and trace and the resistor to the wire. Basically two lengths of wire, one to trace, one to pad and the resistor to the other ends of both wires. Is that clearer?
