I have recently purchased the X3 and tried to install it. In doing so I pulled the under side D0 spot/trace and had to make a repair to the trace with a conductive pen. Well when you do that you don't have a way to solder at the point any longer because you have used the conductive pen and solder won't stick to it or so I'm assuming. The repair works because I put everything back and the Xbox works just fine. I need to know if on the version 1.0 Xbox is there a alternate spot to solder the grey wire on the top side. I have heard that there is a place to do it. Can any one help.
Oh yeah has anyone had a successful 1.0 install with the X3?
