Alternate 5v wire/pro switch question

Newbie here...I'm doing an x3 pin header install on a ver 1.6, also used the rebuild pcb and I have a question about your guide that I want to make sure of...You mention the alternate 5v wire is to be installed and then further on in the guide you say....

"This is how everything should look at this stage. In fact you are actually done - that's the entire X3 installation process finished. I wonder how many of you are now asking yourself what all the fuss was about - it's not difficult at all is it ?"

You then show a picture of the completed project and in the picture the alternate 5v wire is not attached....Believe me I am not being critical because your guide has been a great help...I'm just trying to make sure it was an oversight and or do I really need to install the 5v wire.

I am also installing the pro switch and would like to know if the button is pushed in does that mean it is in the on or off position?

Yeah, you need the alternate 5v wire. The lack of it in that picture has been mentioned before, but apparently not corrected.
As for the pro switch, I don't know. Haven't seen it discussed before. I would guess that pressed in is on.

Thanks for the reply...I was pretty sure about the 5v wire being needed but the picture speaks very loudly...as for the pro switch at least you are thinking like me so maybe in is on....thanks again
