Alternate 5v

I have the xecuter 2.6ce and my boxis v1.6b, do i need to remove pin 6 and
do I need to use the alternate 5v soldering point.

Yes and Yes.

All 1.6 installs with Xecuter 2.6/3 chips need pin 6 removed and an alternate 5v source.

Don't forget that you'll need a 1.6 compatible BIOS too, I'd recommend X2CL 5035. You can find more info in the X2CL support forum.
