Yes, absolutely.

I'd advise installing the dash on either your E: or F: drive (latter being preferrable) and configuring your BIOS to boot from the designated drive.

This is easy in X2CL/X3CL as it's dynamic, but previous BIOS versions would need the BIOS to be edited and reflashed.

it wont let me put anything on F, available space is zero.

any reason E or F is preferred over C? or X?

F is only applicable to HDDs over 8GB and then only if you format it first.

We avoid C because it's been known for MS to erase any other xbe fles when updating the MS Dash (may even do a format before updating - who knows?).

X Y and Z are cache drives and aren't used for anything permanent.
