Where can I solder to on the corona 16mb motherboard other than on the outside of the motherboard? I'm not getting clean NAND reads / writes using the very outside of the mobo where the copper is I keep getting E71's and the NANDs aren't matching back up when I read them back.

any suggestions?

As long as you have gotten a good weld on that ground plane you should be good. If you are getting read/write issues i realy think your problem is somewhere else, but i guess your pro installer already knows this ;)

well my usb board is grounded, I really don't know what else it could be besides that or the cable.

It is safe to say that ground isn't the issue. E71 is typically mishandling of bad blocks

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

There aren't any bad blocks in the NAND before the write, but once I write to the demon they are all over the place and never match up with the original when I read them back.

here's the log from demon toolbox I just programmed it directly plugged in via mini usb

Code:
***** NAND-Flash Information *****

Manufacturer: Hynix
Device: HY27US08281A
Device Id: 0xAD73
Number of Blocks: 1024
Number of Pages per Block: 32
Page Size: 528 bytes
Number of Invalid Blocks: 0

I figured it out. I had moved the NAND on the demon chip off one of the solder pads earlier when I was lifting it with heat and that's why it wasn't writing properly, fitted a new demon and it fired right up. Gotta be more gentle with my lifts, or really should install right the first time so I don't have to lift. Slowly getting there.
