Hi Peepz, I have ordered my Nand-X and it should be arriving 2moz :D
Thing is i tried to jtag using the diodes then realised i dont have a printer port and i was using crap wire
I have disconnected the jtag wires and it seems j2d2.7 is damaged. Dont know if its possible but it seems the copper ring has fell out. I was just wondering can i still use qsb jtag from nand x or should i use diode method (got Kynar Wire now) and use a different point for jumper. Which other point could i use.
Thanks in advance ;)
EDIT: Also i would like to use pin header connection for nand. Do i have to solder the bits into the MB

If you have damaged the points to that extend then you won't be able to use either the QSB's or pin headers. Instead you will need to solder the NAND-X wires directly onto the motherboard using either the alternate points or directly to the traces.

Hi manwithoutaname, thanks for the quick reply, sorry if i didnt explain well. All my nand points are fine, it is just the 1 point on the jtag. I read somewhere that it is just for the jumper (Usually its j2d2.4 to j2d2.7 i think) so i can just reroute (j2d2.4 to j1f1.5) but wanted to check with all the geniuses in this forum. I hope this makes sense

EDIT: Thanks for the link manwithoutaname, exactly what i needed :)

I think it should also be possible for you to stick the jumper cable through the hole on the damaged point and solder it from the bottom.
