Alternate LAD Points...

Hey Guys,

Just to clarify, I do have a working install but I had a HELL of a time with the LAD1 connection (Pin Header Install). I just had to resolder it a few minutes ago because it came off (FRAG).

Does anyone know of a alternate point for this connection?? I'm looking for a larger solder pad or a different trace that runs to this point that will be more secure.

I don't understand how you're having a problem. once you've soldered the join, get some electrical tape and place it over the soldered point/wire to hold it all down...

Spoofing Samsung MS25 as a Liteon with iPrep & Junglefla

I attempted to flash a Lite-On 74850C with iXtreme LTv1.1. With my CK3 Pro and CK3 Probe and Jungleflasher I was able to extract the drive key (dummy.bin). Unfortunately, I have been unable to erase the Lite-On firmware before I could write the new firmware.

I do have a spare Samsung MS25 that I have been able to successfully flash with iPrep v009 to iXtreme 1.61. I would like to spoof this Samsung as a Lite-On.

I tried to use Jungleflasher 1.74 to spoof this Samsung to Lite-On using the Lite-On dummy.bin file. I was unable to write the new Sam_CFW.bin created by Jungleflasher to the Samsung.

Since I haven't had any problems using iPrep, is it possible to use the Sam_CFW.bin created by Jungleflasher to spoof the Samsung with iPrep?

Answered my own question....I was able to use the SamCFW.bin file created by Jungleflasher to flash the Samsung with iPrep.
