I am trying to install coolrunner and I managed to burn one of the resistors. The one I am referring to is the one right below the cpu_pll_bypass picture found here (the first picture mentioned) http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/6143/regfix07.jpg

At first I just connected the bottom end of the resistor with the alternate point and I managed to boot up the box ok, but then it was giving me 3 rrod. So I took it apart and tried to tidy up the soldering and now I can get it to boot up again, but now get 2 rrod (left side, dont know secondary code). I think I can fix this thing if I knew what size resistor that was. Can somebody please figure it out for me so I can replace it?

EDIT: Secondary code is 0011 (E05) CPU overheating

I've managed to find another jasper 16mb to compare and it looks like that resistor I burned off was a
6.82k ohm so I went to the store and got 2 3.3k and 1 220 and put them in series. For some reason the xbox works now when I got back, but I decided to put on the resistors and then it stopped working. As soon as I take them off again it works. I don't know if I feel comfortable not putting back what was there. Not sure what to do since when I put the resistors back to the original configuration it actually stops working.

I will say however that my resistors in series is actually generating 6.89k ohm instead of 6.82k ohm. Is 70 ohms gonna make it be that off?

I just read it again and i`m pretty sure that 2 3.3k`s will do you , forget the 220. but if you have any dead boards you are better off taking a resistor off there and trying to get a smd back on there . They are a swine to put back thou.
