Always buy TX

A guy called saying he bought his 360 E over XMas from overseas and it can take up to a full day to glitch and he is over it. I explained you probably have a clone CR3 Lite or something and I can remove it and install a TX Slim Proto V2 and have it glitching within 5 seconds.

In my hands today and couldn't be bothered waiting so I power cycled about 20 times every min or so before it did finally glitch. I ran Flash360 to grab the NAND but get this error: SFC_init Failure: 0x0000000001 Config Register etc so not sure is the nand locked for dump or something?

Anyway I decided this thing is a mess, so I opened it up and found this hideous thing, that's even more a mess. See attached.

I'm going to read the nand with the 4GB R/W and then install a SPV2.

Cheers

Nothing wrong with that chip if you set it up right. As good as any product out there.
Iv`e had better results with it than CR3-pro (not always but sometimes). And before you say I haven`t set it up right I obviously set the "ugly thing" up right to out glitch the CR3 pro.
Not saying it`s a better chip, but "sometimes" you need to pull your head out of the sand and try different things.

Edit: They now have a V1.1 out that does away with the diode on V5 &V6
