Always enabled chip

What are the steps or under what menu in the config live can i have the chip always enabled. IE. doesn't matter how long i press the button i want it to boot the hacked dash.

The reason i want this is because i have the XIR mod and it will only turn the MS dash on, i was told that in order to resolve this i could either solder the D0 or have the chip on always enabled.

Anyone?

Been out of the loop for a while, kind of lost

As per the subject I've been out of the scene for a bit. Last time I modded a 360 the options were far more limited (both in types of 360s and in mod options).

At any rate now that I'm relatively speaking a total noob maybe someone can point me in the right direction;

-Desire: Play backups from a modded in hdd without disc, ideally via simple transfer from pc (I know you have to convert from iso to god, that's fine). Online play is neither desired nor necessary.

Where I'm at so far
-I can handle modding in a bigger drive easily enough.
-As far as I can tell the only way to then play from this drive without any disc is to jtag your system. Is this correct or are there easier methods? Judging from the guides I can handle doing a jtag but if there's an easier way to accomplish my end point I'm all for it.

Yeah

Only option is to jtag. I can't tell you much on it, but search around for the tutorial if you want to do it. Otherwise, I might be able to recommend someone to do it for you.
