Am I blocked from xbox live?

sometimes i can get in to my friend list and somtimes not.
when i try to log on xbox live in halo 2 i can`t connect.
i have a 1.1 xbox and a x3 with 1959 x3 bios. i have enabled xbox live blocking and i have the orginal hdd.
do you think i am blocked?

Does it give a you have a modified console message ? If not it could be your router.

yea maybe you should try trouble shooting and see what error you get. If it doesn't say anything about modification, call ms.

it doesn`t say anything about modificaton, but the only thing in the troubleshooter I can`t connect to is xbox live.
it coud be the router, but it it strange i can use streaming and view the weather in xbmc.

make sure that your router is set up as a DHCP server.

Yes I have the chip disabled.
it is not the router, I tried to connect directly to the adsl modem.
I am using PPoE and i did make sure to have the right username an password.
I have dhcp enabled.
I have a 3com officeconnect wireless router, but I use cable for my xbox.

I am online again

I removed my x3 booted my xbox and iserted halo2. I logged in to xbox live, and played I played happily ever after. the day after I inserted my x3 and played even more happy.

your network settings were probably wrong on the xbox....next time open the troubleshooter and look at the settings....

maybe, but sometimes I was able to accses my friends list from the dashboard, it was only in games i could not connect to xbox live.
