OK heres the deal, so far i have...

Added the Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Revision2 To my Hitachi Drive

Set the booktype setting to DVD-ROM on my NEC 3500AG burner

Got CloneCD installed.


Is there anything else i have forgotten to do before i burn a game to a DVD+R DL?

I have to ask because i dont want to be wasting too many discs, there like gold dust in my town!

if you flashed succseffuly then make a raw dump of the game, Patch the security sector and then burn the game. And you should have no troubles. Theres also a tut for backing up the games with the hotswap method in the tuts section.

Excellent Bacon, i am currently obtaining a game that should be in .iso / .dvd format which i believe means its ready to burn?

Just hope my burner likes the DVD+r DLs i have bought, could only get one brand round here at short notice! There 2.4x DVD+R DL and thye manufacter is Mirror. Never heared of them, but the guy in the shop asked me if they were for xbox360, i said yes, he said they work great!
