i know you are able to have more than one HD but need to do all your usuall crap, but is it actually worth keepin old HD and smackin a bigger one in, or just new one?

I think I saw it somewhere but I forget where that m$ is gonna start scanning harddrive sizes on xbox live, so u may wanna keep it for that. If not just keep the old one for backup.
there is NO confirmed information on ANY sort of harddrive scanning by mircosoft,

you need to have correctly put you dash on the new harddrive,
lock the drive,

Been playing on xbl for over a year with non-stock hard drives (chip is disabled of course). doesnt make sense for MS to ban users with a non stock drive. I paid for their service, I am playing on original media, let it go. If I have an active mod chip and trying to play with copied media, I deservce to get banned.
Hitachi 79 FL Help!
Finally my "IDE PCI SATA Card PC 6421 VIA VT6421A VT 6421A Xbox360card" had arrived and I connected it to the PCI slot since i don't have any on board sata.
Read the tutorial for jungle flasher and connected my Hitachi with a sata cable into the PCI sata card which is connected to a pci slot on my pc.
Do I connect the IDE cables(which connect the hard drive, CD-Rom, to the motherboard---- i think they are called ide cables :roll: ). Anyways My Hitachi just isn't being detected by JF. So i cant send it to mode B i have the PortIO drivers installed and even tryied ModeB.exe v0.51 by Podger which didnt work. I still dont understand what command base register means but i know Iprep is there to help you get the 4 digits which i couldnt get.
Why doesn't the Hitachi go into Mode B? please any help is very appreciated.

where did you connect the sata cable? you need to use the internal port nearest front of pc!
Also using via card - remove the drivers from the card using method shown in jf tut!, ensure portio is installed!
then use portio selection in hitachi tab!

The via card doesn't have any drivers installed onto my pc.
I know for sure because when I go into my computer ......Under device manager i have Raid Controller with a " ? " in yellow and jungle flasher portIO.exe states i have the drivers installed correctly.
By the way Jungle Flasher Automatically chooses vi port only(some option like that on the dvd key 32 tab and Hitachi.)
I won't connect any IDE ribbon cables to the via 6421 chip set right?

You need to install drivers for the card then follow instructions in the JungleFlasher Guide to remove the viamraid.sys file
(vsmraid.sys in vista and win7)
(you should have a yellow ! not a yellow ?)

my via 6421 card has an exclamation point in device manager. Still wasn't able to send the Hitachi into ModeB however when I click VIA PORT ONLY (dvd key 32 tab) it said:

should i remove the raid utility program the setup installed or it doesn't really matter if i use it or not.

Even purchased new sata cables and it still wont detect the drive in jungle flasher also slax 2.1 wont boot it into mode B.

braveheart My xbox 360 composite cables (TV and HDMI) dont work I can hear sound but no video. But my hdmi I can see video but hear no sound. When I go to display and dont auto detect My hdmi (cable not composite) works perfectly fine 1080 P + sound..... Has this happen because i flashed my xbox 360 on the wrong internal port of my VIA card???
