An Alternative for X-Clamps

Im looking for a different way to tie down the gpu and cpu cooler. I was thinking about buying little bolts to replace the original studs.. Any other ideas or pics?

Could the GPU be tied down safely by only using 2 of the provided holes... and use the other holes to attach the board to the case?
I also have a small orb style heatsink w/fan, good idea to use it on the GPU????? its short enough to fit under the rom...

eya it mostly could casue whn u useigna water cooling kit to for the GPU and CPU
the heatsink have 2 diagonal bars that put down through the stock MOBO holds
