Hey guys my jtag once in awhile gets 0102 error, but mostly just have to either resit the heat-sinks or even let it cook it self but then last week nothing was working to get it running again. then i remembered the old school playstation 1, cd not reading fix of just putting the playstation upside down and power on and it worked...so i decided to try to adapt that to the cooking itself fix..i unplugged all the fans turn it upside down, made it level and make sure none of the heat-sinks was touching anything...powered on ran until the 2 red light overheating alarm went off left that on for 2 minutes. then turned it off let it cool upside down. flipped it around and it worked. now haven't had the error in a weeks time...might not be a for sure fix but its the best its been in awhile.

Hope this helps whoever has this error a lot, like i did.

You did a modified version of the towel fix but without the towels but the premise is the same. You overheated the console with in turn allowed the solder under the chips to crudely reflow and fix the broken connection under the fix. Don't expect it to last too long. If you care about this console and want it to last then splurge down some money and get a proper reball by a professional. Guaranteed you won't regret it if you go with a reputable pro.
