another 3.3v crybaby :/

Hi,

i solderd all joints and checked them.
i tried wire from pin 9-15
i resolderd xx times

i only get 5v blue light
front x3 display doesnt show any light at all
3.3v led does not, nor has it ever glowed blue :/

Do i have to connect the cd&hd to get 3.3v? i wouldnt think so, makes no sence, but it doesnt hurt to ask.


my xbox boots normaly so its not fubar.


any advice? or do i have to resolder and adjust those f**king pins till i die?

Hi ,

I had this problem and found the answer on this board.
I have a 1.6b xbox and couldn't get the 3.3v from pin 9 or 15.
But, I followed these instructions to get 3.3v from another point and got both 5v and 3.3 lit ..

It seems a bit controversial as to whether this should work (comments the other guy got hinted he must have a one of a kind xbox) but, I defnitely now have both leds lit. Unfortunately I now get a red light on the X3 switch and FRAG, but at least its progress...

Missing risistor

I have gotten pretty fluid with reflowing the Xbox360 mobo but on this one I have created a problem. I lost a risistor on the mobo. I am assuming this risistor plays a very important roll in using the front panel power button to turn on and off the Xbox360 as it works flawlessly using the remote or eject button to turn it on. My question is:
Anyone have a mobo laying around so someone could check and see what the value of the risistor is? I can upload a picture of the area if someone can help.

I have a couple motherboards laying around collecting dust. depending on how much its worth maybe I can sell you the part you need. If its only like a 20 cent part you can get anywhere then it isnt worth it of course lol.
