In my man shed
I've already posted here
:http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=469029&postcount=195
But thought I'd try here as well as it seems a bit more active

This is my first jtag install which hasn't gone smoothly!
I've installed my Nand x pin headers and the jtag qsb's on my Xenon.I've read my nand a few times and compared 2,both with 0 non-matching block(s) found.
Preceded to write Xell which it did,un-hooked everything, booted it up to get the cpu key and got 3 red flashing led's.
Powered it down and tried to write back the original nand and now it's saying it could not detect flash controller.I've tried un-installing/fresh install of the Nand X,resetting the Nand X,restarting the pc etc.
The lights are on but nobodys home
I've double checked all my soldering points, all good,(if I do say so myself:tongue:,don't have a camera to post pics yet, only Iphone 3g)
On a side note, could I have gotten 3 good nand dumps with poor soldering connections?
So I'm stuck with a mother board that won't boot up and a nand x that now can't be detected :(

Were do I go from here

Any help greatly appreciated :cool2:

I'd lay it down to a bridge or poor connection. Pics would help try with your phone and we will do our best.
The ipone3g doesn't take close up pics to well!!
I'll see what I can do though

You say your using pin headers take those out and go qsb or direct wires pin headers are the hardest for beginners
Wouldn't exactly call myself a 'beginner' when it comes to soldering

Wasn't trying to insinuate begginer at soldering but first time jtagger. My apologies if it came off that way.

what i do with the pinheaders is using a 0.8mm drill head drill through the points, and they are already tinned. just a dab of solder ;)
I used my solder sucker but I'll bear that in mind the next time(if there is one  )
