Another Dashboard 14719 Question

Hey Guys, first ever topic..... this has probably been discussed before and I'm really sorry for bringing it up again but, can I update my dashboard to 14719 from 13604 with LT2.0??? I have no interest for going on Xbox Live... also if I do update will I need to do it via USB.
I will also provide other information if neccesary, but I do not know my DVD drive as of now

You must flash your drive back to stock firmware before updating the dashboard.

Get the 15574 system update from here.

How would I do that, also will that allow me to still play my Xgd3 games?? and are there any other consequences

your xgd2 games an some xgd3 games that are patched will work on lt2.0 but as BL4K3Y said, you will need to reflash back to stock firmware otherwise youll be opeing up a whole can of worms with a failed update.
