Another n00b question bout http flashing.

Ok, I've been reading the tutorial about flashbios 3.0.3 to my new X3 chip I installed yesterday. I'm getting stuck at the point where the screen says, "DHCP FAILED - Falling back to 192.168.0.99".

I DO have the cross over cable attached to my PC.

I try to go to "192.168.0.99" and all I get is that there's no page at that location. What the hell am I doing wrong?

If you using the crossover cable, the IP probably isn't 192.168.0.99, i'ts probably 192.168.0.2. And you need to configure your LAN connection for the crossover cable.
