congratulations man, pretty cool feeling right? a little homework and some patience goes a long way
Yeah, feels great :). I spent three days practicing on an old computer pcb and reading up on anything I could find about the RGH, mainly screw ups in this forum. If every noob like myself would take some time I think there would be a lot less broken RGH attempts, you can't force a stubborn person to practice I guess, they rush in and screw up, kinda sad :/. I thought it was going to be extremely hard just do to the sheer number of posts of failed attempts; in the end it was pretty easy and I'm glad I had the experience :)

So true, especially the 90002 ones, with the tiny as points! Although I counted 57 points on the demon, so we will get that experience again very soon!

But congrats bro!

Its not often there is someone on the Noob forums saying they have done it properly.

And goes to show, if you read practice and prepare. It can be done with no issues. Also patience helps a lot, not rushing or getting to excited or nervous.

It just shows a little preperation goes along way. Stepping back and making sure you had everything you need to complete the job properly. Not diving in head first and ending up sh*t creek without a paddle :p

I have done about 8 slims now without problems, only having to play with wire length to optimize boot times. These have all been inferior glitch chips though, as when i bought from my supplier only matrix chips we in stock.

Although i have nothing bad too say about the matrix chips (they all did what they said they would do), i will most definately be holding out for the coolrunners/demons this time around.

The support and knowledge i have seen here on TX far surpasses any other product i have ever known.

Its TX all the way from her on out.

57 Points maybe. Only if you count the quicksolder points and the wire install points. It'll be closer to 20-25 points I think cause you'll use one or the other not both.
