another x2.6 newb question

Ok executer installed and working on a 1.6, now I need to flash it. Question is can I immediately flash the chip with the X2 5035 bios or do I need to use the evox M8 one first?

Also can I immediately hack the bios to support lba48 mode (original hard disk still installed) to easy my way for a big hard disk upgrade in future.

I have heard convlicting answers on the questions so please help me.

Your questions highlight a lack of understanding, so I'll do what I can:

1. Just flash a 512k X2 5035 v16 to the chip.

2. There's no 'hacking' or 'patching' of the BIOS. The BIOS will support HDDs over 137GB with nothing done to it. However, if you want to apportion space over 137GB to a G drive, then you will need to modify the x2config.ini.
