Any chance to play Animal Crossing with internet?

I have a console with sxos and I never connect to internet since I install sxos. So I think I did't get banned yet.
My girlfriend has played the game for a few days and she really wants to connect to internet to play Animal Crossing using her save data, so I want to know, if I do this way right or not, please help.

1. backup the SD card and use app to backup the save data for Animal Crossing only
2. restored the console, using sxos to restore to the beginning status, only install sxos but no xci or nsp used.
3. buy a Animal Crossing Card and insert to the console, start the game to let it have a save data
4. restart console with sxos and restore the save data for Animal Crossing
5. restart console with game card and play

Will it work?

Not a good idea as there's always a risk, it really depends how safe you've been with your device and if you've ever used sxos on original firmware it'd be a big nono.

Even restoring your Nand will probably not guarantee a no ban. There's many ways nintendo could detect sxos has been used in the past.
