Any ETA on the new X3 front Panel?

Hi all anyone know when the ETA for the new xecuter complete front panel?

I know on the 9th Nov news was posted that they would be available before xmas but with 2 weeks to go and still no sign i am getting a bit worried i wont find one under the tree... lol

I was also wondering if the LCD is actually part of it of if it has to be bought seperatly and added.

Dont think i can hold out for the case that Team Xecuter are working on so the new front panel is the best i can get in the near future...

Will be an early years present since winner of bios logo comp is getting on 20th(a comp ive sitll gotta enter :?)

and IMO the LCD looks MUCH better put in on its own, the problem with the Cp it doesnt give much flexibility...

Shipped to stores Dec. 20th but probably avail after christmas unless they truk them there themselves or have them shipped priority :?

seems like a LOT of us are waiting on these control panels... in fact i sent my box in to get rechipped from a xenium to an X3 just so i could be one of the ones waiting for it. hehe

i'm a little dissapointed that they fell behind the "in time for xmas" thing that they originally stated, but i think that they took the extra time to really make sure that the materials will be spot on and not look silly like with that xtender gadget.

I just hope that they can get the proposed IR mod to go in the CP out pretty quickly. definitely want to get that functionality.

and from what i have been told on this forum, the CP will include the X3LCD. it wont be an additional cost. it will be pre-fitted to the front panel.

yeah the ir mod fitted on would be awesome. its a pain to turn on your box.

Yeah the ability to turn on the box by remote would be a god send....

Think that as i'm in the UK i may be able to get one from baldbouncer before the end of the year....

My box is slowly becoming what i want.... a full on Media Centre.

noob needs help

hi folks im a noob to the 360 modding scene and am learning as i go along,my question is this. i have a 360 (modded) with a hitachi dvd drive which is rapidly approaching the end.. can i replace the drive with a benq and still retain the ability to play back ups ?i have a VIA sata chipset and have successfully flashed several benq`s before,but i have never replaced a drive with one of a different make before.if it is possible, what do i need to do? sorry if this seems a dumb question,but i am new and willing to learn thanks
