OK i don't have a chip in my xbox i have used they bios chip in the xbox and i want to upgrade to x3 i' have a the lauch xbox it has a 1mb bios chip in so can i put x3 on it or not?

yes of course you can - just remember if you ever want to use Xbox Live, you'll need to reflash the onboard BIOS with an original MS BIOS.

i made the cuts on the pcb.. now when i connect the drive to pc and run dosflash i get no atepi device found.. any solution.. i tried 22,20,18,16 ohms
