I just got an XBOX (stock) that when you turn it on it frags red/green no audio/video.
I think it's and eeprom issue. I want to install an X3 into this box and get it going but don't know if that will work. Can anyone help me out?? Also has anyone resurrected a stock XBOX with this issue??

Has it been opened up and worked on before?

In other words, has someone tried to install a chip in it?

It's not automaticly the eeprom it could be tsop or a hardware proplem. If it hasn't been opened someone could have tried to do a softmod (game expliot) and fubar'ed the box. Open it up and check the lpc and traces to see if someone has messed up the works.

It wasn't opened. No previous mod attempt
I opened it up and everything looks like it wasn't touched no solder points or anything.
Is it screwed?? Do I need to get a new board or can I jus install the X3 chip and try to fix it from X3 config live?
