Any new way to repair three-red-light error?

I have a three-red-light XBox 360 (error code 0102, sometime 0020). I know the blanket trick, but it is not working. Not try the hot gun method yet since I can not find a hot gun (not idea where to buy, too).

Any new methods or working methods to fix three red light problem? I saw a ebay list for $14.99. the seller claimed he fixed more than 300 three-red-light xbox 360 console, only failed 7 of them.

Your inputs are highly appreciated.

Dont get ripped off by an ebay listing stating it can fix your error. I would be willing to bet money that the seller will send you information on how to do the heat gun method.

There is no permenant fix for this error besides having your gpu desoldered, reballed, and then resoldered. The heat gun method has worked for some and not for others. It is definetly worth a try.

Just Use a Good Hair dryer,same as you would the heat gun.

That's NOT true. A heat gun is way hotter than any hair dryer. If you would dry your hair with a heat gun, you would fry your hair. Check out the Team ModFreaks video about the hot air gun trick, you'll see that a hot air gun can burn up a piece of paper!

I Am just saying what ive read.around on the forums.Ive also heard of throwing it in a oven,Hair dryer.heat gun and the towel trick,Just trying to give the guy some other ideas.And also you might be able to find that heat gun at a auto supply,where they use them to remove pin striping. and etc.
